2001 Holiday Rambler AMBASSADOR Series M-36PBD - 31,862 Miles.  This motorhome is loaded. It has two street-side slideouts on the high-side of the road, which is better for superior drivability, balance and ease of handling. It has the upgrade package that included the bigger 8.3 ISC Cummins engine, designed to run a million miles before overhaul. The engine currently has mileage only in the thirty thousands. I improved the already great performance of this engine by having professionally installed a Banks Power-pack to boost the horsepower from 315 t0 434 and the torque from 950 to 1250. She will cruise the interstate on cruise-control at 70 miles per hour, turning only 1700 rpm, which results in great fuel mileage. I have recorded as many as 12 miles per gallon towing a 3500 pound car. An excellent hitch and towbar are included, which, when buying new, is all extra dollars. This coach has dual-pane windows and so many other upgrades that the standard model did not have. Like a BIG four-door 12 cu. ft. refrigerator. It has a separate potty-room from the central bathroom where it is much more convenient to do the washing of clothes in the combination washer-dryer than in the rear bedroom of some motorhomes. This, for some wise investor somewhere, will be a real investment in worlds of future adventure, fun and enduring happiness like my wife and I enjoyed. Only reason for sale is that my wife and sweetheart of sixty-five and one-half years died on December 18, 2011.
