.
2018 Fleetwood Discovery LXE Model 38K with 3 slides and is approximately 38 feet 8 inches in length. MSRP $311,926 very clean, like new, never smoked in. 20,000 miles
This amazing 360hp turbo charged Cummins diesel pusher, Allison 6 speed overdrive transmission with engine braking system and a Freightliner power bridge chassis does not get any better (opinion) and is why we bought this motorhome aside from the great floorplan for family and friends. Oh, and an engine heater for those chilly morning that make it easy to start. The full body paint scheme is Iron (what they call it) with decals and a clear protective shield (diamond shield) on the front. Because my wife is tall, we got the 84” ceiling height that gives it a big feeling.

Lots of options
Entertainment: 3 TV’s inside and 1 outside with a Bose solo 5 sound-bar on the smart HDTV (great sound) over the fireplace. Local TV station antenna and Winegard in-motion satellite dish. There is AM/FM/DVD Sound System with Blue Ray capability and Satellite radio capability.
Outside: The windows are frameless dual pane flush mounted windows and roof vents with wind/rain covers with variable speed fans, slide-out storage tray from both sides and large storage area due to the Freightliner design with storage lighting also. Features an integrated 25’awning with sensor react to park the car under if needed and one over the door. The LXE offers a Truma tankless water heater, one solar panel and prewired for more. The whole coach has a water filtration system with a retrofitted soft water conditioner, 4-point automatic hydraulic leveling jacks with manual control as needed with air assisted suspension. I added a steering stabilizer that makes a huge difference on the road and added brand new chassis batteries (6) this year and starting batteries (2) last year (2020). I recently (November) replaced the windshield to give it that new look also. The 8KW Onan diesel generator can be started up front on the dashboard or the back bedroom that provides more than enough power to run everything you need. There is a full body under coating also.
Heavy duty side mirrors have cameras for turns as well as rear camera for backing up or keeping an eye on your tow vehicle. I added tire pressure monitors and the Blue Ox towing package (10,000 lbs.) with protective mesh between the car and motorhome to protect any rocks or debris that might damage the car. s There are 3 slide-outs with debris awnings with the largest being 25’ that really opens things up. This is a 50-amp motor home with self-winding retracting plug in with a 20’ extension to give you options with a 120V/12 AC/DC Converter that manages the solar charging also. The awning has built-in LED lights with dimmer, as well as under carriage LED blue lighting for a little extra night lighting. There is a 38-gal propane tank, 100-gallon fuel tank, 100-gallon fresh water tank, 75-gallon gray water tank and a 50-gallon black water tank. I just finished resealing the roof this year with Flex-seal (not the cheap stuff) so that will last a long time. There is an old school telephone jack and cable for the TV depending on where you stay.

Inside: When you open the door automatic stairs slide out and you step into a house on wheels. The passenger seat foot rest comes up to rest your feet as well as a slide to cover the stairs when you get up. Heated lazy boy style leather seats for both driver and passenger and passenger seat swivels around for an extra seat when you stop for the day. The dashboard includes all the bells and whistles to include a screen for navigating, camera views and plug-ins for your audio books or music.
Kitchen- The cabinets are all hardwood to include the crown molding. Polished solid surface countertop, tile backsplash (upgrade), porcelain tile flooring throughout, two sinks, two burner induction stovetop with a new (replaced) GE microwave/convention combo. A dishwasher that really works and good recessed lighting with dimmer. A full-size French door refrigerator tops off this very functional kitchen.

The horseshow dining table has multiple adjustments, in and out, up and down and lowers to make into an additional bed with cushion. This setup is especially useful as an office going down the road or eating as you go. The couch pulls out into an extra bed and very comfortable while watching your favorite TV show or sitting in front of the fireplace in the morning. This has been a very functional set up with no regrets.

There is a full bathroom in the back (great setup) and a half bath in the living room area that provides a accessible bathroom on the road as well as for guest spending the night. The sliding door between the bedroom and living room gives everyone a little privacy. There is a TV in the bedroom with a secret storage area behind it for your laptops, printers and whatever else you don’t want out in the open. There are very few king size beds out there which was a requisite for us as well as a master switch panel to turn everything off/on from bed with dimmers. Between the living room and master bath is a dryer over washer combo that works really well.

The master bath with shower and power toilet is primarily my wife’s and has plenty of space. I get the half bath which works out really well when we are both getting ready at the same time. I added an extra fire extinguisher in the guest bathroom. The endless hot water option is well worth the cost when I just want to sit there and let the hot water run on my back. It has as seat. Heating is 25,000 BTU dual furnace vented floor heating (propane), fireplace (electric) and a bedroom roof mounted heat pump. Never been cold. Almost without saying is a quite central duct air conditioning system.

I am probably missing a few options (e.g., central vacuum) because this motorhome is loaded and has been very good for us living in this during the summer as our escape from Arizona for the last couple of years. We are selling this beautiful motorhome (mixed emotions) because of health reasons sooner than we wanted too.
